A 45-year-old lady has had an intensely itchy rash on both elbows for six months. There’s no rash elsewhere. She’s on no regular treatment but takes occasional iron for mild iron deficiency, attributed to heavy periods. Exam shows reddened, scratched elbows with tiny blisters. What's the cause?
